Job Description
Aimbridge Hospitality seeks a highly skilled Director of Sales & Marketing to oversee the planning and execution of sales and marketing strategies for our Full Service hotel. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, improving occupancy rates, and exceeding profit objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all group transient and catering sales solicitations and bookings to maximize overall revenue.
Develop and implement effective sales and marketing plans to achieve optimal occupancy growth and revenue increase.
Conduct outside sales calls, sales tours, and entertain clients to build relationships and drive business.
Monitor production of top accounts and evaluate trends within the market to inform sales strategies.
Requirements:
At least 6 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and at least 4 years of related experience.
Must have a valid driver's license in the applicable state.
Must possess highly developed verbal & written communication skills to frequently negotiate, convince, sell, and influence other managerial personnel, hotel guests, and/or corporate clients.
Must have thorough experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
