Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize room sales and revenue. Identify market trends and opportunities for growth.
• Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, travel agents, and event planners. Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the hotel.
• Lead Generation: Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and other marketing techniques. Follow up on leads and convert them into business.
• Account Management: Manage and grow existing accounts by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to foster long-term relationships.
• Sales Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and analyze data to make informed decisions. Adjust strategies based on performance and market conditions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the revenue management team to align sales strategies with pricing and inventory management. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring terms are favorable for both the hotel and the client. Ensure all agreements are documented and adhered to.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
