About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Hotel Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our front-of-house and guest services team. This role is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, luggage porters, and doorpersons, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

You will play a key role in coordinating daily operations, supporting staff, and maintaining a positive guest experience. The position involves working closely with management and other departments to ensure smooth service delivery across the venue. You will also assist with rostering, monitor staff performance and attendance, and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

In addition, the role includes supporting the coordination of events held at the venue. This involves liaising with internal teams and external providers, assisting with event setup and service, and ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and experienced in hospitality operations, with a strong focus on customer service and team supervision.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily work of housekeeping staff, porters, and door staff
Assign duties and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
Assist in preparing staff rosters and monitoring attendance
Work with management to ensure smooth coordination between different departments
Ensure staff follow workplace health and safety procedures
Monitor service quality and address any issues to maintain customer satisfaction
Assist in resolving staff concerns and day-to-day operational issues
Support front office operations and assist with reception duties when required
Assist in the coordination and smooth running of events held at the venue
Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to support event requirements
Oversee event setup and service to ensure guests receive a high level of service
Skills and Experience required

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in hospitality or hotel operations
Experience supervising staff in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Willing to relocate to Regional Western Australia
Ability to manage staff, delegate tasks, and maintain service standards
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle customer concerns and resolve issues effectively
Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends and public holidays
