We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Steward to provide exceptional service in our restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and set tables with seasonal decorations, candles, and tablecloths to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
• Welcome guests, seat them, serve beverages from the bartender, and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
• Maintain clean menus and present them to customers, enhancing their overall experience.
• Stock wait staff serving stations with essential items and assist with all aspects of service, promoting a smooth operation.
• Clear tables promptly and prepare them for the next customers, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in cleaning and opening or closing tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the restaurant.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes, wash, and put them away, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
• Support sweeping, mopping, and polishing the restaurant, bar, kitchen, and equipment, ensuring a spotless environment.
• Transport used linen to or from the laundry section, streamlining linen management.
• Assist with unloading and storing stock, facilitating inventory control.
