The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN REAL ESTATE (221-005-LA)
Through teaching and integrated learning activities, (knowledge, skills, capacities) as well as evaluation activities, this course will enable the future residential real estate broker to acquire the necessary competency to communicate better with others, both orally and in writing, within the context of common situations in real estate brokerage. Students will learn how to analyze the characteristics of effective communication and integrate them into their future work. They will also learn how to establish and maintain interpersonal relations through an analysis of their strengths and weaknesses in interpersonal relations and to display a positive attitude. They will apply verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, the rules of politeness and the rules of collaboration in their relations with interlocutors in the course of their professional activities.
Finally, they will learn how to interact better in business, offer their professional services and resolve conflict situations.
Required Qualifications :
Must be a licensed Real Estate Broker or Agent in Quebec.
Must have a thorough knowledge of effective communication skills used within the context of common situations in real estate brokerage.
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field, or a minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Residential Real Estate Broker or Agent.
This course is taught in English; excellent communication skills in English are required.
Teaching experience within a similar program is an asset.
