The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of REAL ESTATE MATHEMATICS (221-007-LA)
This course is designed to prepare students, in general, to perform the mathematical calculations related to residential real estate transactions. More specifically, and in relation to the targeted competencies to be developed for this course and other related courses, it will allow the student to see or review certain basic notions needed to solve mathematical, algebraic, geometric and financial problems in the context of his/her future profession. It will also enable the student to master the use of tools, such as the financial calculator, to perform with precision all the calculations his/her work will require.
Required Qualifications :
Must be a licensed Real Estate Broker or Agent in Quebec.
Must have a thorough knowledge of how to perform the mathematical calculations related to residential real estate transactions.
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field, or a minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Residential Real Estate Broker or Agent.
This course is taught in English; excellent communication skills in English are required.
Teaching experience within a similar program is an asset.

Comments :
This course is delivered with a hybrid delivery model: Approximately 20% of the course hours will be given in-person
and 80% of the course hours will be delivered online/at distance.
The specific in-person dates will be determined in collaboration with the hired instructor.
The selected candidate must have the ability to deliver a course online.

This course is taught in English. The selected incumbent will be required to work in English.
