Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout our Hotel. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to creating a clean and comfortable environment for our residents/guests.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, according to established standards.
Dust surfaces, vacuum carpets and rugs, and mop floors to remove dirt, debris, and stains.
Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure all rooms are tidy and well-organized.
Wash, fold, and iron laundry, including clothing, linens, and towels.
Restock toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other household items as needed.
Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and addressing minor plumbing issues.
Handle special cleaning projects as assigned, such as cleaning windows or deep cleaning specific areas.
Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for the Hotel.
Communicate effectively with household members or guests to understand their preferences and address any concerns.
Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of residents/guests and their personal belongings.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
Understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
