Job Description
Oaks Sydney North Ryde Suites is excited to expand its housekeeping team and is now hiring for multiple casual positions!
We’re seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. If you’re energetic, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we’d love to have you on board!
About the Role:
Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
Utilise specialised cleaning equipment and products, provided by us, with full training to ensure effective and safe use.
Build strong, professional relationships with fellow staff members, guests, and contractor personnel to support a positive and productive work environment.
Hourly Rates (excluding super)
Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour
Saturday: $38.78 per hour
Sunday: $45.24 per hour
Qualifications
Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded
Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to handle repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided)
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests, team members, and contractors
Positive attitude, team spirit, and a strong work ethic
Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required
