Ensure residents’ rooms are neat, clean and free from odor

Wet mops floors daily

Shampoo and extract carpets as per schedule

Attend to spills immediately

Empty trash liners and clean containers

Clean bed and rails with disinfectant

Clean all countertops, windowsills, bedside tables, furniture and over the bed

Strip, seal and refinish floors as per schedule

Clean floor edges and corners to prevent build-up

Clean windows and mirrors

Clean personal items, pictures, decorations, flowers, etc

Demonstrate correct safety techniques

Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions

Complies with privacy practices and protects residents’ health information

Other duties assigned by managerial team

Job description

We are hiring a Housekeeper to join our dynamic care team at The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Haverhill!

Shift is 6a-2p with weekly pay.

As a member of our housekeeping team, you perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department to ensure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Education and Experience:

• No experience necessary, on-the-job training provided. A minimum of one (1) year experience in housekeeping in a nursing home or other related medical facility is preferred, but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure residents’ rooms are neat, clean and free from odor.
