Goldstep Housing is a small business in Kitchener, ON. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to provide guests with a five star experience. This means having a thoroughly cleaned home.
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of our premises, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing surfaces. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and has a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Strip and make beds
Wash and dry bed sheets
Empty trash cans and replace liners.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other living areas.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Requirements:
English is NOT a requirement.
A vehicle IS required as there are different sites to be cleaned (all are a few minutes apart).
Students will NOT be considered for this role.
Housekeepers will be expected to arrive at 10:30AM. Each clean will take a maximum of 4 hours but will typically take 3 - 3.5 hours. You are welcome to leave as soon as you are finished! Cleans will be dependent on when guests check out. There are usually 5-6 cleans a week. We are looking for someone who is available 7 days a week, between 10:30am to 2:30pm. (This does NOT mean you will be working every day. The work will depend on when the guests are checking out.)
