The Opportunity
Howe Sound Inn is a cozy twenty-room hotel located in downtown Squamish, BC, surrounded by the incredible views of The Chief, Mamquam Mountain & the Tantalus Mountain Range. We are looking for a dynamic Housekeeper to join our dedicated and hardworking team.
What You’ll Do:
· Clean hotel rooms.
· Replace linens, remove trash and replace room items.
· Respond promptly to requests from guests, housekeeping management and other departments.
· Welcome and acknowledge guests in accordance with hotel standards and policies.
· Check that all appliances in rooms are in working order.
· Make beds, arrange and tidy furniture, vacuum carpets, dust, polish and remove marks and stains.
· Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards or security concerns.
· Follow all hotel policies, guidelines and procedures.
· Support the team to provide guests with first class service during their stay.
What You Have:
· Previous hotel/housekeeper experience is preferred.
· Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.
