• DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter guest rooms by adhering to proper procedures (It varies from villa to villa)
- Replace used amenities in the Villa guest rooms after checkout.
- Provide clean linens and terry for dirty ones.
- Fold terry, make beds, and ensure bathrooms are clean.
- Perform checks on all room appliances to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adjust furniture, desk items, and appliances when necessary.
- Dust furnishings and walls and remove marks from them.
- Carry out floor care duties in the hallway and guest rooms, and vacuum carpets.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies.
- Linens to send and receive from laundry.
- Provide an immediate report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problems, or accidents to the respective SEM.
- Ensure flammable materials are properly stored.
- Keep your uniform clean and make sure to appear professional always.
- Keep proprietary information confidential.
- Ensure company standards are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests
- Expect the service needs of guests and provide them even before called upon to do so.
- Provide assistance to guests with disabilities (After guest permission).
- Genuinely appreciate and thank guests for their visit.
- Maintain quality standards and expectations.
- Without assistance, carry, place, move, or lift objects weighing up to 24 pounds (11 Kg) with assistance for items beyond 24 pounds (11 Kg).
- Ensure high-quality cleaning service in entire areas of the Villa.
- Service Villa bedrooms by order of floor/section to the required StayVista standard
- Restock/replace items in Villa rooms and bathrooms for guest use that have run out of stock or need replacement.
- Make bed professionally following StayVista standard procedure.
- Service bathrooms by washing and emptying bins, washing all glass surfaces and floors, clean shower, bath, basin, bidet, and toilet to the best quality StayVista standard
- Using the right cleaning chemicals, dust and polish all hard surfaces to achieve a quality sheen.
- Vacuum bathrooms, bedrooms floors, corridors, stairs, and lifts to remove all debris, check the vacuum cleaner each week, and if necessary change the dust bag regularly.
- Report issues such as equipment and light bulb damage promptly to SEM for immediate action - ensure such reports are correctly logged.
- Provide (WOW Factor) personal services, like shoe cleaning, ironing, and minor clothing repairs to guests.
- Perform regular deep cleaning of all areas of the Villa as instructed and scheduled.
- Swimming pool cleaning and basic maintenance on daily basis.
- Arrangements for Special occasions and functions at the Villa.
- Basic knowledge of the preparation of (Tea, Coffee, and Lite snacks)
• Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively with Villa guests, i.e., to announce arrival at the door and to clearly understand requests from guests.
- Strong ability to use cleaning supplies, vacuum, safety equipment, and other equipment and materials used in carrying out housekeeping functions.
- Physically fit, with the ability to move around the work area effectively and efficiently and lift 24 pounds (11 Kg) of supplies.
- Ability to work effectively in a place of varying levels of noise.
- Ability to solve problems relating to guests, with strong customer service skills
- Strong self-starting personality and ability to display a professional attitude and appearance always.
- Ability to work in a team setting, providing support to co-workers whenever called upon to help.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and motor skills
- Strong ability to follow verbal instructions
- Strong knowledge of cleaning supplies and procedures
