Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Housekeeping Staff member to join our team at a prestigious fashion boutique. The Housekeeping Staff will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the boutique. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning tasks to ensure the boutique is clean, presentable, and inviting for customers and staff.
Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
Clean and sanitize surfaces, including countertops, display shelves, and furniture.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of fitting rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
Empty trash and replace bin liners regularly.
Keep windows and glass surfaces spotless, ensuring they are free from fingerprints and smudges.
Restock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and restroom supplies.
Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory in storage areas.
Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
Collaborate with boutique staff to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Knowledge of safe and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and a customer service-oriented approach.
Working Conditions:
The Housekeeping Staff will primarily work indoors in a boutique environment. They may occasionally be required to work on their feet for extended periods and lift and carry moderately heavy objects. The position may involve working during regular boutique hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
