Job Description
Job Purpose:The housekeeping staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas within the establishment. This includes performing cleaning duties, ensuring that supplies are stocked, and reporting any maintenance issues that need to be addressed.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain assigned areas, including but not limited to guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Ensure that all cleaning supplies and amenities are stocked and readily available.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
Follow established safety and sanitation procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:The housekeeping staff may be required to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. The work environment may include exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other allergens. Protective equipment may be provided as necessary.
