Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring high standards of hygiene and comfort. Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as needed
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly within designated timeframes
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to maintain a safe work environment
Adhere to hotel or facility policies related to cleanliness, security, and confidentiality
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred but not required
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is advantageous
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive motions
Reliable with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Nice-to-have skills include hotel experience, industrial cleaning knowledge, or custodial background
