Job Description: As an Environmental Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. This includes tasks such as cleaning buildings, emptying trash and recycling bins, vacuuming and mopping floors, servicing restrooms, and complying with all safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Clean and maintain buildings and facilities
Empty trash and recycling bins
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
Service, clean, and supply restrooms
Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and dust furniture and fixtures
Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures
Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions, major repairs, and any abnormal conditions
Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and company requirements
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience, and 1-2 years of janitorial or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. You must also have a valid driver's license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Additionally, you must be physically capable of using backpack vacuums during each shift and able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
