Cleaning Rooms and Common Areas: This involves dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, furniture, and fixtures. It also includes cleaning windows, mirrors, and other surfaces.
Making Beds: Changing bed linens, replacing towels, and tidying up beds in hotels or residential facilities.
Trash Removal: Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste in designated areas.
Restocking Supplies: Replenishing toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies as needed.
Laundry Duties: Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens. This may include sorting and pre-treating stains.
Sanitizing Surfaces: Disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails to prevent the spread of germs.
Maintaining Equipment: Ensuring that cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and dusters are properly maintained and in good working condition.
Reporting Maintenance Issues: Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or repairs needed within the facility.
