Quest Frankston on the Bay is a 76 room property located in the heart of Frankston's entertainment and dining precinct. The property opened in 2013 and offers studio, one & two bedroom spacious contemporary apartments on the Mornington Peninsula and is situated near Bayside Shopping Centre, Frankston Foreshore, and Frankston Arts Centre. Quest Frankston on the Bay now has an exciting opportunity available for a Housekeeper to join its team on a casual basis.
The Role
Quest Frankston on the Bay’s housekeepers are highly valued members of our team, and key to ensuring positive experiences for our guests and the overall success of the business. In particular, the role involves providing housekeeping and room attendant services for apartments (studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments) and cleaning common areas to ensure high standards of presentation of the property in line with the Quest brand standards, and efficient operations based on occupancy demands and guest needs.
The Ideal Candidate
Will demonstrate a can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work, excellent communication skills, a friendly customer service demeanor, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, discretion in guest interaction, and a strong appreciation for workplace safety. An ability to follow instructions and work quickly and efficiently to achieve individual and team goals is key. Prior experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role ideally in a business environment is essential, and qualifications and prior experience in the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded.
The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
