Ø KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial-
ØTo ensure that guest supplies and chemical consumption is adhered to the budget.
ØMonitors and controls inventory of supplies with their par stock.
ØQuality checks and economical use by the department
Operational-
ØAssist executive housekeeper in daily operations
ØPlan the training activities in liaison with the executive housekeeper within the department.
ØEnsures all training records are up to date.
ØConducts daily briefing of the staff members.
ØDaily inspects all areas for cleanliness safety adherence to standards and procedures.
ØEnsures environmental policies are implemented.
ØEnsures all guest complaints and requests are promptly and efficiently dealt.
ØTo provide defect free room with efficient and timely service as per LRA standards.
ØEnsures that all the equipment is maintained properly.
ØMaintaining accurate updated records of all repairs.
ØControls quality and productivity of the contractor’s work.
ØFollow up on all outstanding issues from the previous shift.
ØEvaluates work load and work habits of all employees.
Business plan / Analysis
ØAnalyzing all guest complaints and feedbacks.
ØShould be aware of company’s business plan.
ØShould be aware of hotels financials.
Team Management
ØEnsures maximum efficiency of the staff working under him / her.
ØCoordinates the movements of contractors within the hotel.
ØEstablish staff requirements for a shift, based on the need.
ØGrooming checks.
ØOrganize team motivational activities
ØTo meet team on one on one basis regularly.
General Duty
ØTo maintain good working relations with front office and uniformed services.
ØShould have a quick response in handling of emergency situations.
ØTo have a complete knowledge of facilities available in-house.
ØMust be thorough on fire and safety procedures.
ØTo have high level of administrative accuracy.
ØAdheres to hygiene standards.
ØEnsures that personal grooming is adhered as per standards
