Job description
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Room Attendant
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Clean all rooms per IHG Way of Clean 5 S Program
Clean all assigned guestrooms including dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies
Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Return and properly tag all lost and found articles to the Housekeeping Office
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Report necessary maintenance issues
Clean and organize linen rooms and carts at the end of each day
Vacuum the hallway
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
Previous hotel housekeeping experience an asset
Requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision
Ability to focus attention on guest needs
Schedule:
4 hour shift
8 hour shift
Must be available on Weekends
Monday to Friday
Day shift
Night shift
Holidays
On call
Experience:
Housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Pay: $22.00-$25.73 per hour
