As a Shampoo & Carpet Care Specialist at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $32.00 per hour.
What you'll do
A day in the life of our Shampoo & Carpet Care Specialist.. it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our room attendants accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.
You will be responsible for Extracting carpets, furniture and textiles to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
You’ll also be responsible for deep cleaning Preventative Maintenance Rooms; moving furniture, window cleaning, removal and replacement of window dressings.

In this role you will be working independently 80% of the time. You will also be using extraction and shampoo machines, step ladders and tools of which you will be responsible for cleaning and storing.
You will be trained in all areas of the Department.
Occasionally you will be requested to assist in other areas within the department and/or any other projects.
The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, our Shampoo & Carpet Care Specialist, are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel.
The physical ability to stand and or walk continuously. The physical ability to occasionally climb on a ladder to heights in excess of 12’. The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat and work above the shoulders during the performance of the daily job routine. The physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping, fine manipulation. The physical ability to continuously carry up to 35-50 pounds of weight both on flat surfaces and up and down stairs for distances of up to 150 feet.
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
