Job Description
Housekeepers are responsible for keeping homes, hotels, and other residential or commercial spaces clean and organized. Their job duties may include: • Cleaning and maintaining the interior of the property, such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors • Changing linens and making beds • Washing dishes and cleaning kitchens • Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and restocking supplies • Doing laundry and ironing clothes • Tidying up and organizing rooms and common areas • Reporting any damages or maintenance needs to the property supervisor or manager • Managing inventory and purchasing cleaning supplies Work experience and education requirements can vary depending on the employer and the level of the position.
