THE ROLE YOU WOULD BE PLAYING AS A HOUSE KEEPING SUPERVISOR/MANAGER:
We are 3-star category hotel located in Domlur, Bangalore.
A. Ensuring cleaning of rooms –
1. Food packets, water bottles, beer cans must be removed from the room
2. Doors, windows should be opened so that the gas of the room goes out
3. Dust should be removed from the furniture
4. The railings and glass windows of the balcony must be cleaned
5. Bedding, towels should be checked
6. The mattresses will be cleaned once a month. The interior of the false ceiling will be cleaned with vacuum cleaner
7. Curtains will be cleaned with vacuum cleaner
8. Wall and ceiling will be clean
9. The toilet will be clean. S.S products should be wiped daily. The floor should be cleaned with Vim liquid once. Floors should be cleaned with chemicals and bleaching powder.
B. REGISTER MAINTAINANCE
1. A register has to be maintained location wise i.e., room, bath-toilets, public are etc. Total stock should tally with the purchase register.
2. Register for cleaning chemicals, housekeeping equipment. Procurement and consumption are to be maintained and recorded date wise. Depending on the stock timely procurement order is to be placed.
3.Linen and Laundry register needs to be maintained on a daily basis. Respective out and in should tally. For any missing item, same needs to be informed to the higher authority.
C. TEAM MANAGEMENT
1. Arrange meeting with staffs on regular intervals.
2. Ensuring systematic distribution of work among the subordinates.
3. Preparing a periodical report on staff, volume of work done and time consumption for the same.
Additionally arrange a report on staff attitude and behaviour. Ensure dress code being followed by the staff
