Job Position : Housekeeping Supervisor
Responsible to : Assistant Housekeeper
Job summary : Responsible for upkeep of the area under supervision.
Recurring activities :
Responsible for maintaining his entire area of responsibility clean and defect free.
Ensures maximum efficiency of the staff working under him.
Shows quick response in handling of emergency situations.
Adopts the established procedure for lost and found articles.
Ensures adherence of environmental procedures.
Ensures upkeep of all equipment.
Maintains the par stock required at the pantry.
To have complete knowledge of facilities available in-house
Co-ordinates Single point entry
Must be thorough on fire and safety procedures.
Conducts training as an on-going process.
Conducts appraisals on a regular bases.
Maintain good working relations with Front Office and other uniformed services.
Establish a preventive maintenance and renovation schedule.
Conducts regular and timely inventory checks.
Establish staff requirements for a shift based on the need.
Maintains a record of all assets in the area of responsibility.
Generates monthly reports.
Ensure proper handover / communication between various shifts
