Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Bangalore and major cities. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping operations in various properties including apartments, malls, commercial office spaces, hospitals, and educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and according to established standards.
2. Training: Provide training and orientation to new housekeeping staff members. Conduct regular training sessions to reinforce cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
3. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of assigned properties to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with housekeeping standards. Address any deficiencies or areas needing improvement promptly.
4. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities. Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of supplies as needed.
5. Scheduling: Prepare and maintain housekeeping schedules for staff members. Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and special cleaning projects.
6. Customer Service: Interact with property managers, tenants, clients, and other stakeholders to address housekeeping needs and concerns. Respond promptly to feedback and requests for service.
7. Safety Compliance: Ensure that housekeeping staff follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required. Identify and address any safety hazards or risks in the work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year to 3 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
