Housekeeping Supervisor

Urgently required a Housekeeping Supervisor with atleast 5 years of experience in Hospital. Minimum Qualification: Graduate Mr. Rajesh - 8+2+688227 Administrative Responsibilities: • Take rounds in each area after every two hours, observe cleanliness, record the complaints & rectify them urgently. • Check the work of night duty Staff & check the morning duty staff, take their attendance, & uniform/I-Card : • Check for the cleanliness of the entire campus. • Should ensure pest control measures in the hospital. • Check all vacant and occupied rooms and ensure that there should be minimum complaints. • Ensure that necessary preventive measures are properly followed by all Housekeeping staff. • Use of recommended barriers while handling infected material. • Use of Mask while spraying pesticide. • Special precautions while handling sharps. • Supervise proper working of sewage Disposal System. • Ensure that all service areas are kept clean. • Ensure that Housekeeping protocols are properly followed in terms of moping, sweeping, washing, and disinfecting. • Ensure that the staff knows how to clean an occupied room, vacant room and departure room. • Ensure that the ward boys know to operate the bed system, shifting patients, etc. Prepare Reports & Supervise Staff: • Ensure that the waiting areas are kept clean and odorless. • Ensure that there is required staff in both the shifts. • Prepare a duty roaster for the staff for a month. • Ensure that the wards are maintained properly. • Fix duties for the staff on a daily basis. • Ensure that the staff attendance is maintained. • Get extra cleaning done regularly/follow extra changing schedule on daily basis. • Report to the Assistant Manager on a daily basis. • Pack the dead body, if required with the help of housekeeping staff. • Take patient feedback on daily basis. Training: • Responsible to train the Housekeeping staff for: • Patient Shifting. • Housekeeping Protocols. • Attending to OPD/IPD patients & attendants. • Biomedical Waste disposal & handling rules. • Behavioral & Personal grooming. • Quality Policies of the hospital. • Methods of cleaning. • Team work. Records Maintained • Prepare the monthly stock list of Housekeeping material and forward it to Housekeeping Manager. • Place Checklist' for Toilet Cleaning on the backside of Door to maintain record. • Have a record for the complaints & deficiencies in a complaint register.
