Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. As a leader on the housekeeping team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, supervising staff, and maintaining the overall quality of our rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Operations: Conduct daily briefings with staff to ensure everyone is aware of their tasks and responsibilities.
• Staff Supervision: Manage and supervise all tasks of your team members, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
• Cleanliness Standards: Ensure that guest rooms, corridors, linen rooms, and housekeeping pantries meet our high standards of cleanliness.
• Public Area Supervision: Supervise public areas, including lounges and amenities, to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
• Guest Service: Replenish guest supplies and attend to any guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Damage Reports: Investigate and report any damage or malfunction in hotel rooms to management.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in good working order to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management (BHM) or equivalent is required.
• Language Proficiency: Good oral and written proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with colleagues and guests.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity is necessary to understand the demands of this role.
