Housekeeping Supervisor
Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry attendants, and janitors.
Training and Development: Train new employees on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service standards. Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure high performance and morale.
Quality Control: Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, adherence to brand standards, and guest satisfaction. Address any deficiencies promptly and effectively.
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment inventory. Coordinate with the purchasing department to replenish supplies as needed.
Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff to ensure adequate coverage while optimizing labor costs.
Guest Relations: Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Take appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Communication: Foster open communication and teamwork among housekeeping staff and other departments. Provide regular updates to the management team on departmental performance and challenges.
