Apex Hospital, a leading healthcare facility in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor (Medical) to join our team. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the hospital are clean, sanitary, and meet the highest standards of hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing housekeeping staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department at Apex Hospital, ensuring all areas are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained.
• Staff Management: Manage, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Compliance: Ensure that all housekeeping activities comply with Apex Hospital’s health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of all hospital areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient and staff concerns related to housekeeping promptly and effectively.
• Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Health & Safety: Ensure that all housekeeping staff are trained in and follow health and safety protocols, minimizing risks within the hospital.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inventory logs, and inspection reports.
• Reporting: Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the facility management team and ensure timely resolution.
Requirements:
• Educational Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably within a hospital or healthcare environment like Apex Hospital.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring that all areas of Apex Hospital meet the required cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Health & Safety Knowledge: Thorough understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations within a medical facility.
