What you will be doing
Assists room attendant with heavy items such as mattresses and soiled linens. Delivers linens and necessary supplies to room attendants.
Take laundry and dry cleaning orders to guests as well as any other miscellaneous items on request.
Responds to guest requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies (e.g. linens, roll-a-ways, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner.
Vacuum carpets, floors and upholstery, dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and shelves thoroughly in all public areas including lift.
Replenish and count amenities, linens and supplies in store rooms.
Transport dirty linen to laundry load area as required then transport clean linen to storerooms and guest rooms as required.
Sort, fold, count and stack linen as directed.
Ensure Room Attendant chemicals and supplies are stocked and orderly.
Other housekeeping duties as required.
What We're Looking For
Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is essential.
Availability to work a minimum of 4 days per week (with flexibility to three weekdays and one weekends).
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The ability to work in fast-paced work environments.
