Job Duties and Responsibilities of Walmart Vision Center Manager:
• Drive sales through effective merchandise presentation, pricing accuracy, inventory management, and community trend analysis.
• Model and enforce customer service standards, providing guidance to associates for resolving member issues within company guidelines.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associate involvement.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, managing asset protection, and implementing safety and quality assurance measures.
• Supervise and develop associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and promoting diversity awareness.
• Consult with members to provide quality eyewear solutions, verify prescriptions, and maintain confidential information and optical equipment.
• Implement and support the Open Door Policy by addressing associate concerns and fostering open communication.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet business objectives, measure progress, and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote a culture of respect, integrity, customer focus, and excellence aligned with company values.
Qualifications and Experience of Walmart Vision Center Manager:
• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year of retail experience combined with 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws and regulations.
• Preferred: Experience supervising associates.
