Role Overview:
We are currently seeking applications from talented HR Advisors for a full time role at our head office in Belmont, working Monday to Friday. This varied role offers the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team supporting our West region operations and to contribute to a range of HR advisory and project activities. It is well suited to candidates who enjoy operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and offers opportunities for career development.
Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
End to end recruitment, onboarding and mobilisation – blue and white collar
HR advice and support to department and project teams
Development and implementation of HR forms, policies and procedures
Development and review of documents supporting pay, conditions and Employee Agreements
Support of performance management and disciplinary processes
Assessment of internal client requirements
Processing pay increases and related matters
Support development of training and communication tools for HR education of supervisors and teams
Mine site visits to provide support to site operations as required
Conduct workplace investigations into grievances
Data and document input into HR information systems
HR, turnover and recruitment data analysis and reporting
Support and advise management teams with industrial relations activities involving union activity, unfair dismissals, general protections and other Fair Work Commission matters
Liaison with payroll team
Support HR team working on various HR projects/improvement initiatives.
Skills, Experience and Qualities required:
Tertiary qualifications in human resources, organisational psychology, industrial relations or related field (preferred)
Demonstrated experience in end to end recruitment processes, onboarding and HR advisory
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office fluency and HR Systems exposure)
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Stakeholder management skills at all levels of an organisation
Understanding of the Fair Work Act and other related legislation
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
