The Company

A registered NDIS Provider delivering high-quality care, ensuring it is of the highest standard of professional and ethical service.

They strive to provide high-quality support to help maintain independence and wellbeing by cultivating and nurturing human connections, providing dedicated support and fostering empowerment.

They are now in a huge growth phase and are looking for an experienced HR and compliance professional to report directly into the Chief Operating Officer. This is a newly created role, where you will have the autonomy to build and develop all HR processes and procedures, whilst working collaboratively with all departments to ensure the business needs are met.

The Role

Duties will include:

Establish and grow the HR department with best practices and processes

Manage recruitment and onboarding to attract and integrate top talent

Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote open communication

Implement systems for goal setting, reviews, and development plans

Ensure adherence to local employment laws and HR best practices by creating and maintaining all HR policies and procedures

Coordinate programs to enhance employee skills and career growth

Administer and review compensation and benefits programs

Maintain accurate HR records using HRIS systems for streamlined processes and reporting

The Candidate

You will have proven experience as a HR professional in a dynamic environment:

3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role

Good verbal and written communication skills

Strong organisational and time management skills

Attention to detail and accuracy – compliance orientated!

Demonstrable aptitude for self-direction and motivation

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Working knowledge of NDIS would be an advantage but not essential

Ability to work and thrive in an autonomous role
