Our vision is to transform community pharmacy from a primarily dispensing focus to a service-led role. In combination Pharmacy Plus Health, our chain of independent pharmacies, we will liberate the pharmacy team from the daily dispensing to focus on delivering clinical services to patients. We need to support the pharmacy team on their transformation journey to free up capacity and reach their full clinical potential.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of HR and overseeing the full employee lifecycle, you will be responsible for the timely, accurate processing of employee information to support the business operation, whilst providing a service to employees. As a data and technology driven business, you will manage the people information systems to ensure the smooth running of the HR and Payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the recruitment systems, ensuring job vacancies are advertised on relevant channels, compliance checks completed, and offer letters issued.

Assist Managers to ensure induction and mandatory training is up to date for all staff through provision of monthly reports.

Manage the HR and Payroll systems, ensuring platforms are kept continually up to date and maintained with employee changes.

Receive and respond to Payroll queries.

Provide managers with first line support for people queries, including training, absence management and performance.

Check processed payroll data including payslips and submit reports to Financial Controller for approval prior to running final monthly payroll.

Off boarding activities completed including liaising with other functions to remove access rights and return of company property.

What do you need?

Good understanding of UK employment law and payroll legislation.

Organised with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Good level of Excel knowledge.

Highly motivated.

Ability to work well within a team and independently

Ability to work to deadlines.

Strong numerical and literacy skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience of payroll and HR software.

Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
