The E-HRLDP is a two-year, full time rotational program enabling highly motivated graduate students to develop into Johnson & Johnson’s HR Leaders of the future.
Through the rotational assignments, you will have the opportunity to be part of teams engaging in strategic collaboration with J&J businesses and functions on local, regional and/or a global level in diverse areas (e.g. may include Workforce Analytics, Employee / Labor Relations, Talent Management / Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Global Learning Delivery and more). You may diagnose needs and provide strategic solutions as an HR Business Partner across our business sectors, R&D, enterprise Supply Chain or Corporate Functions. All rotational assignments and your first role upon HRLDP graduation are determined by the HRLDP Program Office.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for talent and performance management, learning, year-end compensation planning, and workforce planning.
• Assist in administering the Company Wage and Salary Administration Program for site needs including shift differentials, salary increases, and rewards & recognition programs.
• Partners with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) in supporting the facilities objectives and targets with accompanying programs. Assists with implementation of established objectives and targets.
• Acts as a primary point of contact with COEs on program delivery issues and customizations for the business they support.
• Coaches’ managers and employees on development, employee relation and reward issues.
• Participate in the roll-out of wellness initiatives and onboarding activities.
• Shares local intelligence and provides a “field perspective” on the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
• Serves as a subject matter expert on the local labor market and regulatory environment.
• Participates in regular meetings with respective client groups.
• Assist in facilitating performance management tools and processes including goal setting, coaching feedback, and employee development.
• Identify training and development needs for business units and individual employees.
• Drive engagement initiatives.
• Partner with Managers to determine staffing and retention needs and analyze staffing and retention strategy.
• Ensuring job description are updated and maintained.
• Act as an Administrator in the LMS.
• Proactively partner with business unit managers to optimize employee capabilities and deliver against business objective and priorities.
• Act as a first point of contact for assigned functional groups.
• Works with leaders in restructures to ensure fair and consistent decision making, prepares legal review documentation and participates in termination meetings.
• Maintains non-shared service policies.
• Assists in managing employee relations by investigating and resolving employee issues and concerns.
• Manage and support employee recognition programs.
• Have awareness of HR trends.
• Supports the development and drives the Talent Management agenda for assigned business units.
• Takes the lead role in restructuring activities to ensure fair and consistent decision making. Prepares legal review documentation and participates in all termination meetings.
• Proactively works with management to develop and implement key employee retention strategies, advises and counsels on comp recommendations for internal moves ensuring that performance management is followed through for all assigned employees.
• Strengthen overall organizational capabilities working with managers and leaders to include organizational assessment, organizational structure, workforce planning and change management.
• Serve as champion of company culture, modeling Company standards and deliver exceptional employee experience.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations concerning employment law.
Required Skills/Education
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required
• 6+ years of experience working in Human Resources
• Understanding HR processes (onboarding, training, and talent management)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of staff
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of product
• Learning Management System (LMS) and training experience is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable with public speaking
