Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a top-notch HRBP to support our Chennai office with employees across a variety of business functions: Analytics, Product Management, Tech/Engineering & CS Ops. The incumbent will build relationships with managers, employees and site leaders while liaising with the global HR team. Your responsibilities will be broad: people manager development, site engagement and D&I activities, performance and talent management, organizational realignment. Reporting to Jayanthi V - VP and India HR head, the successful candidate will partner across a broad spectrum of HR disciplines including Employee Relations Talent & Development, Total Rewards, Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Acquisition to drive business outcomes against the execution of our global HR and local site-level priorities.

• To lead new assignments with minimal direction and supervision
• Working with minimal direction as well as collaboratively with HRBPs other Site HRBPs Site Management and the extended HR team functions
• Champion of site engagement by partnering with site leaders on cultural activity, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and solutions to enhance the employee experience
• Program Management and self-ownership on Discovery to Design for Site Programs to increase Talent Engagement, Development & Retention
• Be the Voice of the Site/India in bringing & delivering the relevant HR programs that impact the Site
• Work across COEs & with global & local partners to add to the bouquet of HR Benefits, programs that add to the EVP for PayPal India
• Participate in DIEB/Best Places for Women to Work, GPTW & other external surveys to uplift the EVP of PayPal India
• Removing obstacles balances competing priorities and collaborates effectively within the organization, leading to timely and high-quality outcomes
• Accepting opportunities to take on complex and impactful work
• To Translate business needs into HR services; delivering people-based solutions that support the business in achieving its goals.
• Predicting the impact of the business strategy on people and structure, thereby responding to identified business problems, and deliver appropriate solution.
• Engaging the business in the relevance of the HR agenda and act as a respected and objective advisor - this includes, but is not limited to adapting approach to suit differing circumstances and people
• To ensure consistent management of a wide range of issues including ineffective management, grievances, disciplinary processes, inappropriate behavior, failure to adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures, breaches to regulatory rules etc.
• Manager Training on performance evaluation, compensation, delivering feedback, HR tools, and general best practices
• Coach managers on individual & team performance
• Drive Corrective Actions (Performance/Behavior) in partnership with business, Legal & other stakeholders
• Support deployment of global HR programs such as the annual performance & rewards cycle, talent calibration & reviews and the employee listening survey
• To Negotiate conflicting demands & agenda - keeping in mind matrix environment that one would operate in.
• Together with the business-aligned HRBPs, support business reorganizations and restructures
• Deliver anecdotal and analytical insights
• Experience:
• 15+ years of total relevant work experience with at least 6+ years in Business Partnering role and program management exposure.
• Strong experience as HR business partner in large complex organization; where matrix management is well established.
• Ability to engage and interact with different stakeholders across all levels in the organization
• Experience in working in a global environment.
• Education: Master’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration or equivalent experience
