About The Role
Ready to kickstart your career in HR? Join our People & Culture team as our HR Coordinator.
In this entry-level position, you'll dive into the essentials of HR support, becoming the go-to expert for first-level HR queries and managing contractual agreements. You’ll gain hands-on experience by delivering top-notch administrative support and facilitating smooth employee contract changes. This role is your gateway to understanding the inner workings of HR and making a meaningful impact from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing
Action all first-level HR queries on behalf of the People & Culture team, including: Flexible working arrangements, system & process related queries, compliance training administration, jury duty letters, training scheduling and coordination, employee surveys, parental and nonannual leave queries and other duties as required.
Ensure the accurate, responsive, and efficient administration of contracts, employee movements, changes, and exit activities within the required time-frames, through SCA’s HRIS (PageUp & Chris21)
Manage the People & Culture inbox, actioning or escalating all employee queries within 48 hours of contact.
Provide guidance and first-level advice to Hiring Managers and candidates on Modern Award interpretation relevant to SCA roles.
Facilitate the digital sending and acceptance of employment contract changes within a timely manner and ensuring onboarding paperwork is completed prior to the commencement of employment.
Experience We’re Looking For
Tertiary qualification in HR
Exposure to Fair Work Awards interpretation highly desirable
Excellent administrative skills and exemplary attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – the ability to relate and explain technical information to all people at any level
High technical aptitude with experience using a HRIS or ATS (PageUp/Chris21 desirable)
Self-motivated and able to work well alone and as part of a team
Extensive customer service experience and delivery
