Working within People Services our HR Operations team are the central operational hub for all HR activity. We provide support to colleagues throughout their journey with GWR and are an essential support service across our organisation at all levels. We work together to ensure we deliver for our people, share knowledge, and help make GWR a great place to be.
About the job?
As a HR Data Administrator within the team you will provide a service to support all HR Operations data activities, ensuring relevant processes are carried out in line with business and audit requirements in a consistent and timely manner. Working to meet agreed SLA's you'll be instrumental to ensuring our HR systems are updated and any job changes across the organisation are processed in line with key deadlines. Working closely with our HR Data Admin Manager you'll have the opportunity to be involved in projects in relation to process and system enhancements.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Some of the areas you'll be involved in are:
• Data housekeeping – maintaining the quality of data held on our HR systems carrying out checks to ensure compliance with GDPR and audit requirements.
• Assist in the generation of ad hoc reporting requirements using HR systems and MS Office
• Management of HR inbox responding to a wide range of system/data queries from across the business.
• Processing business forms in relation to new starters, job changes and leavers
• Supporting the wider HR Operations team with ad hoc administration tasks
• Liaising with internal customers and external suppliers to resolve queries
• Maintaining confidentiality and security of our data
You'll need to be:
• Well organised with focus on prioritisation and time management skills.
• Able to take responsibility for your own workload and meet key deadlines.
• A good problem solver with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Able to build effective working relationships at all levels.
What do I need to have?
• Strong knowledge of MS office is essential, especially Excel to include Formulas, Pivot Tables and VLook Ups.
• Proven experience of working with large datasets and data cleansing activities
• Experience of high-volume data entry.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
About the location?
The office is based in Milford House, Swindon however hybrid working is currently available.
What are the working hours?
25 hours per week Monday to Friday.
