Job Summary: The HR Workday Ecosystem Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing the Workday ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and optimizing workflows to enhance HR operations. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday functionalities, integration technologies, and HR best practices. The HR Workday Ecosystem Architect will play a key role in the design and architecture of our global HR and Payroll environments, ensuring the platform enhances operational efficiency and enables delivery of our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and architect the Workday ecosystem, ensuring alignment with HR business goals and processes.
• Architect the integration of Workday with other enterprise systems (e.g., payroll, time keeping, talent management, and performance management).
• Collaborate with HR leadership to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system configurations and integrations.
• Assess and optimize existing Workday configurations and workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance across the Workday environment and integrated systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, integrations, and processes.
• Stay current with Workday updates, enhancements, and industry trends, providing recommendations for system improvements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday functionalities and best practices, providing guidance to HR teams.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HR systems architecture, with a focus on Workday.
• Strong understanding of Workday modules, functionalities, and integration capabilities.
• Proven experience with integration technologies (e.g., APIs, middleware) and data management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Workday certification (e.g., Workday HCM, Workday Integrations).
• Experience with HR business processes and best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
