Responsibilities
The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in managing various human resources functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration
Oversee the recruitment, vetting, and hiring processes, ensuring compliance with background check approval procedures
Train hiring managers in effective interviewing techniques and the use of the ATS system for better recruitment outcomes
Utilize ATS, Job Boards, and Educational Associations to assist in hiring and sourcing qualified personnel
Establish and maintain effective communication with school liaisons to guide and assist them in managing school-specific HR functions
Serve as the first point of contact for school personnel issues, understanding and adhering to escalation protocols
Assist in conducting preliminary investigations as requested, delivering preliminary findings and creating recommendations where needed
Plan and conduct new employee orientation sessions, ensuring adherence to State and Federal employment compliance
Conduct annual background checks for all employees
Collaborate with the Benefits office and Director of Human Resources in managing all Medical, Personal, and Military leaves, ensuring total compliance with leave tracking policies
Assist the Director of HR on all ADA requests for accommodation and work with management to ensure compliance
Maintain FMLA files, including all supporting documentation and final leave tracking calendars
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
Complete related projects as needed to accomplish human resources and organization mission

We are on the hunt for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in managing various human resources functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities
