Description
The HR Manager will be in our Bangalore office and support our growing office in Bangalore. The role will work closely with senior leadership and will be part of the global HR team. This role will report to the global head of HR located in New York. The HR Manager is responsible for acting as an advisor to leaders and staff, will be an advocate for employees and will help execute global projects and talent management initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Lead all people matters in region
• Proactively address employee relations issues with leaders and provide guidance on how to handle, ensuring consistency in approach and mitigating risk for the firm
• Respond to employee issues/concerns in a timely manner
• Lead all the onboarding and off boarding activities for employees to ensure consistency
• Manage all immigration matters, partnering with our third-party immigration law firm to include applying for visas, and tracking the status and all activity
• Leverage tools to provide metrics and reporting that will help drive people decisions such as engagement metrics and turnover metrics
• Collaborate with global HR team members across regions
• Partner with learning and development to ensure that programs are addressing needs
• Work with the internal recruiting team – evaluating immigration status of candidates and then with handoff of candidates once hired
• Support the payroll process for region, working closely with global payroll manager located in London
• Partner with the benefits manager for the annual benefit renewals and ongoing management of the plans
• Periodically review the applicability of various labour and employment laws/rules guideline for compliance
• Responsible for compliance under POSH Act (employee trainings, ICC, Annual reporting)
• Manage the data requirements from vendor to comply with the S&E act
• Review the timely remittance of ESI, PF, LWF or any other statutory dues
• Manage the compliance and payroll audit requests led by external and internal team.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of HR experience; preferably in financial services
• Good knowledge and experience in local labour laws.
• Proven record in supporting a rapidly growing office.
• Analytical reasoning and solution-focused problem solver with the ability to think critically and independently
• Ability to drive to results, in a fast-paced environment
• Strong prioritization and time management skills
• Innovative in approaching situations and responsible to be an advocate for change
• Capable of synthesizing information concisely and easily
• Self-motivated and disciplined individual with analytical skills; capability to work independently as well as in teams

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
• Experience with Workday and Greenhouse (ideal but not required
