Human Resources Manager – Canada

Human Resources Manager to lead HR functions across our 17 Canadian operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional with experience in union environments, who thrives in fast-paced settings and enjoys building strong partnerships across all levels of an organization.

As the HR Manager, you’ll drive key initiatives in staffing, employee relations, performance management, training, payroll, and more - serving as both a trusted advisor and a change agent aligned with our organizational goals.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Regional HR to design and implement strategies that improve HR efficiency and effectiveness in Canada.

• Lead a team of 7 including HR Generalists, an Office Admin, and a Benefits Admin.

• Manage end-to-end payroll, benefits administration, and ensure accurate HRIS data (ADP WFN experience is a plus).

• Oversee both union and non-union environments.

• Champion employee engagement through field visits, one-on-one check-ins, and proactive relationship building.

• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning efforts.

• Provide guidance on employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.

• Drive strategic HR initiatives: performance calibration, workforce planning, change management, and organizational design.

• Act as a culture ambassador—modeling core values
