Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Operations Manager (Part-Time) to lead the administrative and people operations functions of our growing hospitality team. In this role, you will coordinate employee onboarding, scheduling coordination, documentation management, and general HR compliance that helps keep our restaurant team running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone has experience in human resources, hospitality management, or business operations to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment while contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Duties
• Manage with employee onboarding processes, including organizing paperwork, maintaining personnel files, and supporting new hire orientation
• Coordinate staff scheduling coordination and communication between management and employees
• Help maintain HR records and documentation, ensuring files remain organized and compliant with company standards
• Assist management with recruitment coordination, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, and scheduling interviews
• Support training administration, helping track employee training completion and certifications
• Assist with basic payroll preparation support, including time tracking verification and coordinating with management on employee hours
• Maintain internal HR systems and tools used for scheduling, payroll preparation, and staff records
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives that help foster a positive and productive workplace culture
• Provide general administrative support to restaurant leadership related to staffing, compliance, and internal operations
Qualifications
• A degree in Sociology, Psychology, Human Resources, Business , Hospitality Management, or a related field
• A-Self Starter that understands of HR operations, employment practices, and workplace policies
• Familiarity with payroll processes, time tracking systems, or payroll support functions is preferred
• Knowledge of HR resources and employee support tools, including onboarding documentation, compliance materials, and internal HR guidelines
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee information
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with restaurant management and staff
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Experience scheduling systems, HR platforms, or Microsoft Office / Google Workspace is a plus
• Passionate about people operations, workplace culture, and HR processes
Schedule
• Part-time, hybrid position
• Approximately 10–15 hours per week
• Flexible schedule depending on restaurant operational needs and candidate availability
