TNI Career Counselling is a boutique global admissions advisory, career counseling, and test prep venture catering to undergraduate, master's & MBA programs. We work with institutions and individuals to provide counseling resources, workshops, webinars, and other outreach activities. Students and professionals reach us through our varied engagement efforts. We have access to over 50 qualified mentors and associates who provide mentoring on test prep and admissions guidance led by our founder Mr. Dhaval Mehta (University of Michigan & Columbia University graduate). TCC makes the admission process a blend of mentoring and technology using AI & ML to shortlist colleges, programs and complete the application process.
About the Internship:
Key responsibilities:
1. Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine selection criteria
2. Design job descriptions, interview questions, and assessments that reflect each position's requirements
3. Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
4. Generate new pools through referencing, candidate mapping from targeted companies, etc.
5. Plan interview and selection procedures; perform screening calls, administer appropriate company assessments, and in-person interviews with candidates
6. Communicate employer information and benefits during the screening process
7. Make recommendations to hiring managers and conducting interviews accordingly
8. Keep track of applicants and follow up when required
9. Perform reference and background checks
10. Stay current on the company's organizational structure, personnel policy, and employment policies
11. Coordinate negotiations, offer letters, and employment agreements
12. Assist in company policy and protocols and employee reviews
13. Assist in onboarding and coordinating training workshops
14. Lead employer branding initiatives
15. Attend job fairs and recruitment events
16. Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
17. Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
18. Conduct exit interviews for feedback and implementation after discussion with management
19. Report to HR and hiring managers on a daily/weekly basis
20. Assist the HR department from time to time
Requirements:
1. Bachelors in human resources management or relevant field
2. Proven work experience of a minimum of 1-2 years as a Talent Acquisition
3. Specialist or similar role, worked with a spectrum of IT and non-IT hiring across a range of functions from 25K - 3 Lacs/month
4. Familiarity with job portals and sharp at shortlisting, organizing resumes, and coordinating with candidates with excellent communication skills
5. Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, etc.)
6. Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
8. A keen understanding of the differences between different roles within organizations
9. Skilled in using Google Docs, Excel, and other software
