As a member of the Pay/Personnel Unit, perform multiple and diverse tasks associated with pay and personnel
activities for the Department of Health (DoH) and the Department of Communities Tasmania (DCT).
The work requires the application of conventional practices, methods, and standards according to established guidelines,
systems, and processes

Details of Appointment
Two Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 per fortnight commencing as soon as possible for a period of 12 months.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $71,661 to 77,455 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
Conviction checks in the following areas:
crimes of violence
sex related offences
serious drug offences
crimes involving dishonesty
Identification check
Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
