HR System Specialist
Job Summary
Ambassador of Human Resources: This role involves maintaining data integrity and supporting systems for payroll, benefits, and HR management. We are seeking a skilled professional to assist in the development of reports for management and external agencies.
Duties
• Work on sync error reports to ensure data accuracy in the system of record and other supporting systems.
• Maintain and track human resources management data and develop reports as requested by law or management.
• Assist in maintaining HR employee records systems, including copying, closing, purging, and archiving files, as well as creating new hire files.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support for the hiring process, including maintenance of the requisition system, I-+ verification, and follow-up on interviews and pre-employment testing.
• Assist new employees with new hire paperwork and inform staff of new placements.
• Begin processing unemployment compensation requests and forward them to the appropriate department or return to the unemployment office.
• Assist with maintenance and provide technical support for all Human Resources programs and systems.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement Tools, Record Management, and Payroll and Employment Benefits Systems.
• Ability to work with diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Internet, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
