Job Description
• The role holder will work as HRBP in partnership with SCMAC business leaders, providing support to create an impactful People Plan that enables sustainable growth and business performance, and ensuring that people processes are executed effectively.
Strategy
• Support the India HRBP(s) to create a People Plan aligned to the strategic priorities of the country that enables sustainable growth and performance of the functions and businesses across the segment.
• Continuously review the relevant operating models to align these with the overall business strategy, using all available data to assess effectiveness, proactively identifying and securing resolution to points of misalignment.
• Responsible for executing key HR projects and initiatives aligned to the strategic priorities of India, as per the project plan.
Business
• Responsible for coordinating ad hoc projects and deliverables as they relate to the people agenda, interacting with Business Leaders People Leaders for implementation of agreed actions.
• Track delivery of people objectives against the relevant business/function scorecard.
• Drive global performance and measurement requirements to support business deliverables.
Processes
• Support key project processes such as OD reviews, restructuring and Target Operating Model (TOM) implementation, and People Plan items to ensure all the process steps have been considered and are effectively implemented
• Preparing and analysing HR dashboards to proactively highlight and mitigate areas of concern as well as identify focus areas such as attrition, headcount, and productivity
• Performing periodic submissions of workforce insights to key forums ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Managing HR processes such as job evaluation for proposed new hires and promotions and market data matching for performance reviews
• Partner with the HRBP(s) to ensure simple, effective and client-focused implementation of key HR processes ( succession planning, Year End) in India
• Ensure effective management of operational risks within the role remit and compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulation.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR products, processes, policies, and ways of working.
People and Talent
• Partner with the HRBPs in India on talent identification and succession planning processes.
• Support the HRBPs in India in preparation for Talent Reviews with the respective Management Teams.
• Support the job evaluation process for new roles and proposed promotions.
• Plan and manage the annual HR calendar of events (, Year End, succession planning, key HR projects) for India
• Responsible for the periodic submission of people-related MI along with insights, to key forums.
• Submit headcount and financial budgets and various forecasts periodically.
Risk Management
• Coordinate major thematic risk & control responses within India as part of the global process.
Governance
• Embed the Group's values and code of conduct as it relates to the role remit to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees form part of the culture of India
Regulatory & Business Conduct
