Overview
The HTML and CSS Development Fresher (Frontend) plays a crucial role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. They are responsible for implementing the design and layout of a website using HTML and CSS to meet client and user expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented HTML and CSS code for websites.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate mockups into functional websites.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement responsive designs and cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with website functionality.
• Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in frontend development.
• Assist in website content updates and maintenance.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end logic with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript and its interaction with HTML/CSS.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Sketch is a plus.
• Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio of projects or internship experience demonstrating the ability to create responsive and visually appealing web designs is preferred.
