Assist with open enrollment for health benefits for employees
Support leave of absence administration and help with the interactive process for accommodations for employees
Assist new hires with paperwork, benefits enrollment, and acclimation to company policies
Supports compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; assists with the reviews of policies and practices to maintain compliance
Collects and analyzes internal and external information in order to compare the organizations HR practices to those prevailing in the market
Identifies training needs and coordinates employee development programs
Performs other business related duties as assigned

Responsibilities:

• Experience with handling documentation for workers comp claims.
• Assist with open enrollment for health benefits for employees
• Support leave of absence administration and help with the interactive process for accommodations for employees.
• Assist new hires with paperwork, benefits enrollment, and acclimation to company policies.
• Supports compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; assists with the reviews of policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Education / Experience / Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or in a related field from an accredited institution, years of experience may be used in lieu of an educational requirement.
• 2+ years’ experience in a related position.
• Spanish speaking is required. Reading and writing is preferred.
Additional Details
• Full-time position 7:30am-4pm M-F
• This is an on-site position.
• Starting pay is $25/hr.
