Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as the primary day-to-day owner and administrator of the HR function in a hands-on, execution-focused role. This individual will be responsible for operating core HR processes with a high degree of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across a growing, multi-state employee population.
Reporting into senior leadership, this role is designed for a strong HR generalist and hands-on executor who is comfortable owning HR responsibilities end-to-end and operating independently. The HRBP will oversee compliance, HR systems, and the full employee lifecycle (including recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding) while providing day-to-day support to managers to ensure HR operations run smoothly, consistently, and reliably.

Comp: $65k - $90k DOE + benefits
Key Responsibilities
Own and administer core HR operations, including employee records management, benefits administration, leave administration, performance documentation, employee relations support, disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations
Maintain accurate compensation data, employee records, offer letters, employment agreements, and contracts
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across a multi-state employee population; stay current on regulatory requirements
Develop, maintain, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation to support a growing, multi-entity organization
Manage HRIS administration and data integrity, ensuring all employee information is accurate and up to date
Oversee employee lifecycle processes including onboarding and offboarding
Serve as a reliable point of contact for managers, providing practical guidance on HR processes, policies, and employee-related questions
Support managers with coaching on employee relations issues and difficult conversations
Execute day-to-day recruiting and staffing activities to support business needs
Draft, update, and maintain job descriptions aligned with approved roles and compensation levels
Own recruiting execution using an ATS, including requisition setup, candidate tracking, interviewing coordination, and offer workflows
Prepare and administer offer letters, employment agreements, and related documentation with strong attention to detail
Maintain compensation leveling and documentation for open and existing roles to ensure internal consistency
Support training and development initiatives focused on manager effectiveness, process understanding, and employee performance
Identify gaps, errors, or inefficiencies in HR processes and implement improvements
Maintain strong documentation, organization, and process discipline as the business scales
Perform other duties and take on additional responsibilities as required to support evolving business needs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
SHRM-CP or PHR certification highly preferred
3–5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Strong generalist background with hands-on experience across HR operations, compliance, and employee relations
Proven ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels
Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment where processes and structures continue to mature
